Most privacy policies are written to be skimmed and forgotten. This one is written to be read. We have kept it short and plain on purpose, because you should actually understand what happens to your information when you visit our site.

Who we are

This website, faoxdigital.com, is run by Faox Digital, a digital marketing agency based in Istanbul. Under Turkish data protection law (Law No. 6698, known as KVKK), Faox Digital is the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect and why

The contact form

The only personal data we actively collect is what you type into our contact form: your full name, email address, company name, an optional budget range, an optional timeframe, and your project message. Submissions are delivered to our email inbox.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and handle related business correspondence. We do not send you marketing emails unless you ask to be contacted.

Our legal bases under KVKK are Article 5/2(c) (taking steps to establish a contract at your request), Article 5/2(f) (our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us), and your explicit consent where required.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: your IP address, timestamps, and the pages you request. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure, which is a legitimate interest under KVKK.

Third-party resources

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and Font Awesome icons from Cloudflare cdnjs. When your browser fetches these files, your IP address is transmitted to those providers. That is how loading any file from the internet works, but we want you to know it happens.

WhatsApp

The WhatsApp button on our site does nothing until you click it. If you do, it opens WhatsApp, and from that point WhatsApp's own terms and privacy practices apply.

Cookies and analytics

The site currently sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. That is why you do not see a cookie banner. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it for the business relationship and for any statutory obligations. After that, we delete it.

Who can access it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Two service providers have incidental access as part of keeping things running: our website hosting provider (which stores the server logs mentioned above) and the email service behind our info@ inbox.

Your rights under KVKK

Article 11 of KVKK gives you the right to:

• Learn whether we process your personal data
• Request information about that processing
• Learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used in line with it
• Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
• Request deletion or destruction of your data
• Object to outcomes produced by exclusively automated analysis of your data
• Claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing

Children

Our website and services are aimed at businesses, not children. The site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding analytics, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and adjust the date below.
